Itinerary

Our tour starts at 9:00 AM while picking you up from your hotel or AIRBNB anywhere at Thessaloniki city center. As our drive will take us about two and a half hours to Meteora, we make one or two quick stops for coffee and beverages. Plenty of commentary along the way and photo stops if required.

We depart at Kalambaka, a traditional town at Meteora outskirts around 12:00 AM. We head to the rocks and start our monasteries tour with Saint Stefan (Agios Stefanos) monastery. You may visit two of the following monasteries:

Agia Triada or Holy Trinity
Varlaam Monastery
Agios Nikolaos
Roussanou Monastery
Megalo Meteoro or Metamorphisis

Plenty of photo stops at breath taking views of the amazing Meteora. Our tour is really flexible and may be altered as per your requirements. Round late noon, we climb down from the rocks and get a traditional Greek cuisine lunch at Kastraki nearby village. We proceed with a quick visit at Kalambaka and start our way back to Thessaloniki. Mid journey stop-off to Tempi valley, a great natural and historical location. Arrival back at Thessaloniki city center around 9:00 PM
